This project focuses on the element of abstraction and random events.

Starting by collecting all of my art supplies in groups and letting two people who known little to nothing about their application to pick out four groups of media.

Once the four groups were picked out, I used each media to create something with no intentions on separate A5 sheets.

Then, I took each sheet and split it into numbered circles, inspired by Dali’s “Galatea of The Spheres”. A random number sequence generator was then used on each sheet to get a random order for each one.

Once each sheet was randomised, a new random sequence was generated to get a final sequence from all four initial sequences.

The sequence was then formed with all ninety one circles, with one of the original sheets in the background. This was then printed on a large-scale mounted canvas.
